De Visual Twin

As a graduation project together with Remy Pas I started the development process of the Visual Twin.
This tool allows stakeholders to see visualisations of area changes, creating better insight for the situation. With this improved insight, conversations can easily be started about the situation at hand.

To make these visualisations possible, several different data sources were used to create the final image namely: accurate elevation maps, detailed buildings, ground maps and weather information. With these sources, the basis of the Visual Twin could be presented.

The Visual Twin prototype was developed within Unreal Engine. This development process has been my responsibility and it has allowed me to further deepen my knowledge of Unreal Engine.
